Policies and Practices

Check-in/Check-out –
Check-in hours are from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. For check-ins after 7 pm, please call ahead and arrangements can be made to accommodate your late arrival.
Check-out time is 10:30 am.

Quiet Hours -
Peace and relaxation are key features at “The Peaks at Greer”. We provide television and radio to our guest rooms, but as a courtesy to others, we ask that our guests observe quiet hours from 10:30 pm until 8:00 am. After 10:30 pm we require that our guests turn down or off their TVs and radios as not to disturb others. Also, our recreational facilities close at 10:30 pm. We discourage guests from arriving after 10 pm due to the noise factor.  Guests who are delayed and arrive after 10 pm are asked to use care in making as little disturbance as possible out of respect for other guests.

Children - Under 18 years of age
We welcome children to our establishment, provided they are supervised by their parents at all times. For safety and health reasons, our hot tubs, sauna and fitness facilities are only open to guests 18 years and older. Children under the age of 13 are allowed in the game room only when supervised by a parent. Children are not permitted in the common area facilities without parental supervision regardless of age. The guest computer is complimentary for adult guests and children may use the computer only while accompanied by a parent.

Dining-
Evening dining guests enjoy casual elegance in a peaceful setting. Reservations are highly recommended for adult dining and are mandatory for diners with children under the age of 8. We have established family dining hours for guests with children under the age of 8 with seatings at 5:30 and 6:00 pm. For guests with young children, arriving later than the family dining hours, pizza and off-the-menu items can be ordered for room delivery until closing.
Dining at The Peaks is an opportunity for children of all ages to learn etiquette and manners, regardless of age. All children are expected to remain seated during dinner and families not respectful of our dining etiquette rules will be asked to leave the restaurant.

Smoking -
”The Peaks at Greer” is a smoke-free establishment. We take great pride in providing our guests with fresh rooms and litter-free grounds. Therefore, we do not allow smoking inside or outside on our property. If you can not adhere to this policy, please do not reserve or register at “The Peaks”. Any guest found smoking in the rooms will be asked to leave immediately and will be assessed a $250 charge to their credit card.

Policies and Practices
Pet Policy -
We love animals, but understand the limitations that must be observed with regard to pets and our guests and employees. Due to the layout of the lodge and with respect for guests with allergies and the safety of all, pets are NOT permitted in the Lodge. However, we do allow pets (limit 2) in our two cabins with a $50 non-refundable cleaning fee due at time of reservation.

Deposits, Cancellations and Payment

Deposits -
A deposit of fifty percent of the booking total or the first nights booking, which ever is greater, is due within five days of making a reservation. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card may be used to secure a reservation and will be charged at the time of booking. Checks are accepted for reservations, provided it is payment in full and payment is received more than 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require credit card. Packages/discounts are deducted at check-in.

Holiday period reservations, special event reservations, and catering events will be charged in full at the time of booking with NO REFUNDS. Reservations of four rooms or more will be charged in full at the time of booking.

Cancellations -
Deposits, minus a $25.00 service charge per unit will be refunded if cancellation notification is received more than 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations received less than 30 days will forfeit their deposit unless the entire reservation can be re-rented.
Holiday period reservations, weddings, and special event reservations are non-refundable.
We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances including travel interruption. We do not guarantee weather conditions and are not responsible for travel restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control. Travel insurance is available through independent carriers.

Payments -
Credit card, cash or travels check are accepted at check-in. (Sorry, but personal checks cannot be accepted at check-in.) Guests should bring the credit card used to make the reservation to check-in. Reservation total will be charged in full at check-in. Guests are responsible for all rooms and nights reserved regardless of actual arrival or departure date or number of rooms used. Room charges including restaurant, cantina, gift shop, tours, special services, and massages may be charged to the room of guests with credit card authorization on file at check-in. Room charges for restaurant, room service and cantina will include an 18% service charge.
